DEFERRAL CONDITIONS AND LIMITATIONS
Maximum number of deferrals per 12-month period is 3. First payments are not eligible for deferral. Lines of Credit and or Real Estate Secured Loans are not eligible for deferral.
A $30 processing fee must be paid before the deferral can be processed and will not be added to the principal balance of the loan.
All loans must be current; all share accounts must have a positive balance. Loan interest will continue to accrue on the loan and maturity will be extended. Only 2 biweekly or semi-monthly payments will be deferred. In some instances, 3 payments are due in a month on a biweekly payment schedule and the 3rd payment will still need to be paid. Only 1 monthly payment will be deferred. Updated address and phone numbers are required. If we are unable to reach you due to invalid phone numbers, your deferral will not be processed. If this is a hardship deferral request, documentation will need to be provided of the hardship and is subject to approval. Please contact the credit union if your request is for a hardship. All deferrals are subject to the approval of the credit union. If your deferral request is denied, you will be contacted, and your regular payment will still need to be made.
